Benefits of Relations

It is known to everybody that connection is better than disconnection, even with one's enemies. It is a means of having chats and talks and of exchanging mutual thoughts. It clears the cloudy and hazy atmosphere. Sooner or later, it creates love and increases positive thinking.

On the other hand, dis- connection is a curse. It stops every type of relation. It is like stagnant water that becomes rotten and has a bad smell.

Positive and sincere thinkers always emphasise the need to maintain relationships and connections. In a state of connection, one can improve relationships. Otherwise there will be the dense darkness of hopelessness and helplessness.

Allama Iqbal said:

Wabata reh shajr se
Omid-e-bahar rakh

Connection, in hope of a better future must be our motto, but not with a hasty and emotional attitude. Wrong connection is not the aim. Connection will not reach the target unless there is continued effort.

After all, connection and relationship in good hope is very important. As our holy Imam Ali (a.s.) said in Nahjulbalagha:
Ya ayuhan nas deenokum deenokum
The message there is to be religious-minded and try to act accordingly, even when you by chance commit sin. If you are related to religion, one day you will realise that sin and you will be ready for Istaghfar But disconnection from Deen will close the gate to Istaghfar.

It is obligatory and incumbent upon everybody to remain in the circle of Islam even if you do something against the ruling of Islam. Attachment with Islam will guide you to be a good human being, a noble citizen and devoted relative.
