a divine religion and has arrived to prevail over all other codes and ideologies. Even Samuel Huntington recognizes the reality of Islamic values which he condemns for their "revulsion of the West's materialistic, corrupt, decadent and immoral hegemony, as Islam claims the universality of its values." Though it is true that the Muslim world lacks liberty and social justice but Islam is not at fault, these are the Muslims who do not practice the real Islam. The Muslim monarchs and rulers belong to the capitalist class. They are mostly cruel and callous. The Muslim history is replete with bloodshed but
it is also true that Islam strictly prohibits injustice, slavery, dictatorship, inequality and monarchy. The time is coming when the Muslim masses will end capitalism, feudalism, fascism and imperialism. On the same grounds we find that the American constitution guarantees liberty and social justice which is a golden principle. But what does liberty mean? Only to write and speak freely does not mean we are a free nation. The true liberty means when all people have equal opportunities and equal resources to live and to compete. In America ninety percent of people are living hand to mouth.

A few monopolists enjoy the boon and fruit of free economy. To make it a welfare state so many social and economic changes are required. Islam strongly condemns capitalism. If by the clash of civilizations Professor Huntington means a clash between money and mind or a clash between capitalism and social justice then he may be right but this is not the clash between civilizations, this is a clash between systems. The preaching of clash is a crime. It breeds extremism and terrorism. We must preach peace and tolerance for each other. We should neither condemn nor criticize other's system of beliefs. If we desire peace we will have to maintain Justice. We will have to announce justice for Israelites, justice for Palestinians, justice fro Kashmiris, justice for Chechens and justice for all - which is an American slogan as well. Let this slogan be given practical shape. Then no body will pose the question: "Why do people hate the Americans"? Let us preach dialogue of civilizations. To end clashes and initiate dialogue and harmony Dr. Iqbal Hussain suggests: "dogmatism in tolerance and bigotry are the dominant features of fundamentalism.
Fundamentalists, whether Christians or Muslims are inspired by the evil instincts
