iii. Praying for things forbidden in the same way that he prays for things allowed.
Ayah 37 of Surah Anbiya: "Impatience is the very stuff man is made of, I shall show you my signs: do not ask Me to hurry them on."
The above verse indicates the very nature of man which is impatience as he was created in haste. The interpretation of Majma-AI- Bayan elucidates the fact that Adam did not even have a gradual creation unlike other human beings. The normal creation of man is developed from a drop of sperm into a clot, and then into a lump and after going through the different stages he is spirited in four months; thereafter he stays for five months in his
mother's womb to evolve into a perfect creation.
Despite this perfect state into which man is born, he is not burdened with the task

of attaining perfection. He is not expected to remain as pure as on the day he was born. Unlike the rest of His creation, Allah (s.w.t) has given man the freedom of choice; he is capable of both good and evil, depending on the choices he makes. Rather than expecting the impossible, God has also given man options by which he can return to his original state through the punning process of repentance. Therefore, he is not seen as a single-faceted entity, but rather as a multi-dimensional honored being with a purpose in life and a goal to achieve.
Moreover he is endowed with the abilities that can help him achieve his mission here on earth and elevate himself through a close relationship with his Creator and attain paradise. To achieve his mission he cannot afford to be hasty and impatient.
