enjoy it We must get benefit, enjoy our life and use it is such a way as to make the hereafter good. And, as we live here, let us bear in mind that we must live and let others live so that the hereafter will be peaceful and not restless.

Duniya, this world, can be divided into two syllables; the first part is Danee, meaning low and degraded (as the bone of a dead pig in the hand of leprous person). It is full of deceit and cheating. But it is the bridge to cross a river to the hereafter. We are not here permanently; this world is not our home, our permanent is the hereafter. Imam Ali (a.s.) declaimed Duniya three times. He said to Ibn-e-Abbas, pointing to his very old shoes, that this world is less than this shoe if justice and truth is not being practiced.

This world is like a field in which to put seed,, work hard and progress and reap the harvest in the hereafter. As it is said, one who does not progress day by day will be a loser. This world is like glasses through which we should see clearly the concept of the hereafter, the real destiny, in order to find everlasting contentment there.

To receive benefits from this temporary world, we must live in harmony, help and respect each other, under divine guidance, for the sake of a better hereafter.

May Allah (swt) bestow His blessings and bounties with peace and comfort here (in this world) and in the hereafter (Aakherat).
